Great shop in the Springs. Jullien is one of the best managers we’ve seen in the industry. The way he directs his staff to handle a large volume of customers while still providing exceptional service to each and every person speaks volumes. That’s real leadership. He also has a great way of making the foreign language of cannabis easy to understand for beginners I truly didn’t know much about cannabis before walking in, and he made the whole experience comfortable and educational. We were helped quickly and efficiently, which made the visit even better. Huge plus that they offer daily and monthly deals. We’ll definitely be stopping back hands down the best shop in the Springs!!!

Love This place!! We are about 2 blocks away so we take a nice little walk up at least 2 times a week.. it’s so convenient. We actually enjoy coming in. Everyone’s so friendly. One day we got half way home and realized the pod was completely empty and without any hesitation they swapped it out. Another time on one of the sales we didn’t realize I didn’t push the button for another item since it was buy one get one for a dollar and they gave it to us no issue!! Thank you all for doing what you do and going out of your way to make sure your customers are taken care of!!!

This was my first time in Colorado Springs, and naturally, I had to check out a dispensary since cannabis is legalized here. After doing some research, I decided to visit Star Buds, and I’m so glad I did — it’s easily one of my favorite dispensaries I’ve ever been to! The staff here is super knowledgeable and welcoming. My budtender, Kolton, was amazing — personable, friendly, and one of the nicest budtenders I’ve ever met. He took the time to answer all my questions and made the experience really enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Colorado Springs. Highly recommend Star Buds to anyone visiting or local! 🌿

Colorado made history as one of the first two states (alongside Washington) to legalize recreational cannabis in 2012 through Amendment 64. Adults 21+ can purchase from licensed dispensaries. Colorado also has a mature medical marijuana program dating back to 2000.

Recreational: 21+

Medical: 18+

Purchase Limits

Rec: 1 oz (28g) of flower, or its equivalent in concentrates (8g) or edibles (800mg THC)

Med: 2 oz (56g) of flower per day (up to an extended plant count with physician recommendation)

Public Consumption

Prohibited in public. Colorado law prohibits consuming cannabis openly and publicly. Some licensed social consumption establishments exist in certain cities like Denver. Private property with owner permission is allowed.

Home Growing

Adults 21+ may grow up to 6 plants per person, with no more than 3 mature at a time. Maximum of 12 plants per household regardless of number of adults. Must be in an enclosed, locked space.
