Oklahoma's Wide-Open Medical Market
Oklahoma has one of the most unique cannabis markets in the country. With no qualifying conditions required and extremely low barriers to entry for businesses, the state has more licensed dispensaries per capita than almost any other state. As of 2025, there are over 2,000 licensed dispensaries for a state with about 4 million people.
The result is an incredibly competitive market with some of the lowest cannabis prices in the nation. Oklahoma also offers temporary 30-day licenses to out-of-state patients, making it one of the most accessible states for visitors with medical needs.
