The Happy Cactus

I have been shopping with Happy for over a year now, and I will never go anywhere else!! They always have the best product, the staff are so sweet and personal and truly take pride in the work that they do! I find myself bonding with staff over favorite strains! Currently enjoying a new strain they have in called Apricot Haze! Don’t think twice about shopping anywhere else for your gardening needs!!

Truly awful customer service and yet they’ll still expect a 20% gratuity on a counter service transaction. I spent a few hundred dollars here and the staff was really weird about it. They kept saying no one ever buys this much and how weird it is. It’s very strange to make your customers feel uncomfortable for spending lots of money in your business?? I arrived a few minutes early before opening, which I did not know about. The man came out and yelled at me for knocking on the door. They do not have any signs posted about whether they are open or closed nor do they have any signs about their operating hours. They regularly do not honor their business hours. I would definitely call before ever coming here because of how often they waste their customers time by disrespecting their business hours. I regularly come here when they say they are open and they have instead randomly closed, whether that’s for a full day or just for a staff member to go out and get something to eat. I’ve been a regular customer here, but I will never again return. Not a fan of any of their house brand products. Those are pretty bad. If you’re shopping here, make sure to not buy their house brand.

This little pink building has a lot of character on the inside, including the amazing staff. For a small store it has a nice selection! They even have some super cute ashtrays, candles and t shirts etc that would make great gifts. Everyone that works there helps you with a big smile and lots of knowledge on their products. They have a rewards system as well so you can simply give them your phone number to save money each visit! I highly recommend stopping by Happy Cactus!

Such a cute local dispensary tucked away in South Austin! Very fresh natural flower and the team is so kind and knowledgeable!!

I want to give more stars. The guy I talked to was awesome and we had a really good talk. However, the product itself was very dry and not very good. As we finished it, I realized the jar had huge cracks on the bottom and all up the side of the jar behind the sticker. it's cracked all the way through, that sticker might be holding it together. So, it makes sense that even sealed it it had air get in. I liked the guy but I can't give more stars for a bum product. Sorry yall.
