I stopped in and was immediately hit with such a nice looking place. The fireplace in the middle, such a good little esthetic. The parking lot's huge, it's just a really nice stop. Extremely good customer service.

I finally visited KMD and I'm so glad I did, because there is only one shop I can name where I've had a better experience overall- and that one isn't in Vermont. With more years in medicinal cannabis than most budtenders have been alive and a career in sales, I find it is very rare to come across counter staff who know that much about pot and don't just get by on sales charisma. I have a short list of questions I usually ask when I walk into a new shop which don't usually get answered to my satisfaction, and I have to henpick product myself to find what I want. None of this was true at KMD. The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The shop was top-shelf in terms of aesthetics and the space. It was clean and modern and super appropriate for Killington. It's obvious the ownership cares about it and how much money went into it, and that professionalism extended to the products and culture. The discount spread is topnotch, bulk options are solid, and quality flower is beautiful. Product variety is really wide, with very good curation of concentrates, tinctures, nonflower psychoactives and smoking accessories. But my favorite part was engaging with a budtender who really knew the product authentically, and who sent me home actually impressed with their opinions and selections. If you care a lot about details and a lot about quality and a lot about knowledgeable staff, don't miss Killington Mountain Dispensary up the mountain road.
