The guy that rang me up seemed...idk disinterested, maybe? And unprepared . I ordered online, received a text my order was ready, arrived 35 minutes after the text. They had me come in back for the transaction and the items i ordered were laying on the counter- no stickers/labels, not bagged, etc. That being said, he was able to quickly put my labels on the items, bag them, and cash out my sale. He was polite, but had little personality and didnt give off the friendly vibe that Jars employees have almost always exemplified in the past. I'll give him benefit of the doubt tho cuz it was almost closing time so he was probably tired and just wanted to get outta there lol I write all of this to get to this point though: it's not that this employee was bad at his job, because he wasnt. The overall level of the customer service and friendliness of staff has kind of... disappeared! Noticeably over the last 2-3 years the feeling in the store went from walking in and being greeted like you were an old friend to feeling more like shopping at The Gap; employees are more on autopilot in their greetings and interactions, and not a lot of genuine good vibes coming out of there anymore. I say this as a regular customer, visiting 2-3 times a week for the last 5+ years and its the only dispensary I shop at. I dont know if perhaps the working conditions coming down from corporate level is crushing everybody's spirit, or if they've given up on focusing on the stellar customer service they used to be famous for.....?? Whatever the case may be, I miss how it used to be in there. I'll continue shopping this location out of convenience and the hope that the vibe recovers with the employees to return to the pleasurable experience visiting this store used to be.
