Response to owner reply: I entered the store and was at checkout minutes before the 8pm deadline (and within your posted hours), so your statement is not factual (there were literally other customers in the store). If there was an issue it was not effectively communicated to me; instead I was met with a rude employee that simply stuck their hand out waiting to receive my ID, staring at me, saying nothing. It wasn’t a case of it being past legal sale time, it was a case of rude employee behaves inappropriately. There is no reason to come back as there are so many dispensaries in town. This was also not the first time this employee has been rude. Hopefully in the future this employee will encounter customers with basic courtesy and a respectful demeanor.
