I’ve visited this shop multiple times while traveling for work, and it genuinely pains me to leave a 1-star review, because SOPHIE deserves every bit of 5 stars—and then some. Sophie is the reason I kept coming back. She is warm, attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in the customer experience. She makes you feel seen, heard, and respected the moment you walk in. Her knowledge, demeanor, and energy represent exactly what this industry should be about. If customer service had a blueprint, Sophie would be the standard. Unfortunately, the experience with the other employee completely overshadowed that excellence. I have never felt so disregarded in a business setting. His attention was focused on his computer rather than the customer standing in front of him. No engagement, no acknowledgment, and no effort to make the experience welcoming. In an industry built on trust, comfort, and guidance, that lack of presence matters—and it shows. A business can have great products and a great atmosphere, but without consistent customer service from the entire team, none of that matters. In fact, I chose to shop at another dispensary with lower-quality products simply because every single staff member there made customers feel welcome. That speaks volumes. I’m leaving this review at 1 star intentionally, not out of spite, but because with so many 5-star reviews, a low rating is sometimes the only way to get attention where it’s needed. This is not a reflection of Sophie—she is outstanding—but rather a call for accountability and consistency across the staff. I am absolutely open to updating this review to a higher rating in the future. But great customer service cannot rely on one exceptional employee to carry the entire experience. Give Sophie the recognition she deserves—and make sure the rest of the team rises to meet her level. She’s already doing her part. Sophie, Do NOT accept complacency from your subpar co-workers when you are the star here! All of the reviews mention Sophie and Sophie should be insanely proud because in retail, this is not an easy feat! Keep on keeping on Sophie! YOU deserve 100 stars!
