Deals and the website is great! I loved this place until a staff member didnt hear how i wanted the transaction and told me himself "i tune people out who start rambling." I wasnt rambling and only mentioned i was gonna use rewards points with my purchase. Now I have saved them the trouble and speak less than i have to.

Dear Management, A couple of months ago, I purchased several tinctures from the Hi Variety brand, including a strain called “Tiger’s Blood.” I had used approximately half of the bottle without issue. However, one evening just before bed, when I went to take my usual medicinal dose, I noticed that the tincture had developed a noticeable reddish hue. The product had been completely clear the day before. Concerned about the safety of ingesting a discolored product, I visited The Forest the following day to show the tincture to a staff member and explain what had occurred. After speaking with the front desk personnel, they consulted with the on-duty pharmacist. When the pharmacist came out, he immediately stated that the tincture was fine and that the discoloration was due to oxidation, asserting that it was still safe to use. I explained that I was uncomfortable ingesting a product that had changed color so suddenly and that, as a consumer, I did not feel there was a definitive way to confirm that oxidation was the cause. The pharmacist responded that Hi Variety tinctures have a reputation for discoloration and that it was “nothing to worry about.” I then asked for a refund or a replacement. The pharmacist told me that my only option was to leave the bottle there, with no refund or replacement offered. This did not seem like a reasonable solution, as it provided no resolution for me as the customer. Throughout the interaction, the pharmacist was rude, angry, and dismissive. What made the situation especially frustrating was his acknowledgment that this brand has a known issue with discoloration, yet I was still treated as though my concern was unreasonable. I am very disappointed by this experience. I expect a licensed dispensary to stand behind the products it sells and to treat customer safety concerns with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this interaction left me feeling that neither the pharmacist nor The Forest took my concern seriously and are perhaps no different than street peddlers who wont stand behind their product once they've got your money. I am writing in the hope that this matter will be reviewed and that steps will be taken to ensure better customer service and accountability in the future.
