Cannabist Dispensary Williamsburg

I had a prescription ready and went to pick it up. My young child was with me, as I had no care. The security guard checked my ID and then said to come in, but when I stepped toward the door to come in he didn't move. I stopped and looked at him, and he goes "the kid can't come in". Okay, then why did you tell me to come in? Did you expect me to leave the child on the sidewalk? I'm not sure how Cannabist plans on getting prescriptions to single parents, and I fail to see the precedent when parents take their children into the ABC store on a daily basis. This is my medication, prescribed to me by my doctor, and you are creating barriers to access.

I like this location, I've been to others in Richmond and the wmbg location is by far my favorite. People there are patient with me as it is usually me being slow. Over all I give five stars across the board to the Cannabis wmbg location. Great help from employees their great.

Everything about this place is "AWESOME." :-)The pharmacy technicians are professional, approachable, knowledgeable, helpful, and take their time with you. Inside is clean, and beautifully decorated. This dispensary is delightful to shop in. I would suggest mentioning to patients that there is a fee for using their debit card. It was disappointing to find out that after my 15% discount I incurred a fee. I had enough cash for my purchase. :-(

Vic at the check in counter was AMAZING! She was so helpful and patient with me! Daniia was very knowledgeable and helped me find strains that would be best for me. I love this store!

3.6⭐️ I like this dispensary. The staff is nice, it’s clean, and they have a few locations. Just not as much variety as I’m used to. When comparing it to a dispensary in CA, it is very different. In CA they only allow a certain number of people inside at a time, BUT, everything is out for you to look at and touch, and they have A LOT MORE Of Everything. Here at Cannabist, the store is very neat and clean, but that’s because everything is behind the counter where the employees are standing waiting to help you. You’re not looking at things on shelves or anything like that. They have an ok selection, but NO WHERE NEAR CA’s inventory. I noticed it is actually more expensive at the dispensaries out here too, which I wouldn’t mind if they had more a better selection of things to buy. But you can order online for in store pickup, which is cool. And the Williamsburg location is close to a lot of restaurants and shops and all, so I like this location more than the others.
