Cannabis in Oregon
Oregon was one of the earliest states to embrace cannabis, with medical legalization in 1998 and recreational approval in 2014. The state is known for its vibrant craft cannabis culture, particularly in Portland, where dispensaries are as common as coffee shops.
Oregon's market has some of the lowest cannabis prices in the country due to oversupply and intense competition. This means consumers benefit from excellent selection and value. The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) regulates the recreational market.
